Profile

Provides a wide range of services including information, advice, counselling, referral and advocacy services on immigration, benefits, housing, health, employment, training and educational opportunities for Ethiopians living in the UK. Also provides training on ESOL and IT, job search skills and CV preparation for unemployed refugees and asylum seekers. In addition, translation and interpretation are also provided for their users.Other services include, organisation of educational workshops, symposiums, and seminar relevant to community members. Other services provided include special support and assistance for the lonely and distressed members of the community. In addition they conduct research, carry out surveys on social, economic, and cultural needs of Ethiopians living in the UK, organise sport/recreational activities, and provide reception assistance to new asylum seekers irrespective of the country of origin.
