CBMEA AGMCBMEA celebrated its on the 17th of January 2007 CBMEA's Annual general meeting took place on the 17th January at Camden Law centre and was well attended by our members and external partners. John Oke, CBMEA's chair kicked off proceeding by welcoming everyone and briefly spoke on how the Alliance and its partners needed to continue their efforts to serve the community in Camden. Monica Olusola, CBMEA's Director gave a presentation about what the Alliance has achieved over the past year with the commitment of funding and trustees. Notable achievements and challenges were also highlighted The Alliance also had to say goodbye to some valued Trustees, since they have moved on to newer pastures. They were Angela Nairne and Enayet Sarwar. New Trustees that were elected were Priscilla Muruthi, Shamsha Rhaman and Alem-Segad Abay. Rob Neil from Goldsmiths college and David Woodger from the 1990 Trust gave presentations on multiculturalism in Britian which were well recieved by attendees. Revised on 24 May 2007 |
