About Camden Black & Minority Ethnic Alliance

Camden Black & Minority Ethnic Alliance is an umbrella organisation that seeks to represent the voice of Camden's BME community and voluntary sector at local policy-making level.

The Alliance does not seek to duplicate the work of the BME voluntary sector which provides supportive services to clients at a grassroot level. It will conduct strategic work with a long-term focus in terms of eventual outcomes.

The Alliance is a membership organisation with full members and associate members. Only organisations can be members.

The Alliance is a company limited by guarantee (no. 4790738) and is governed by a management committee and one full-time Director.

The current management committee has representatives from the African, Bangladeshi, Chinese, Cypriot, Irish and Somali communities and all bring relevant skills and experience that will enhance the ability of this project to achieve its objectives.

CBMEA is based in central London, near Warren Street and Euston tube stations.
